Lubbock Heart Hospital
Lubbock Heart Hospital is a state-of-the-art heart hospital focused upon the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Lubbock Heart Hospital opened its doors in December of 2003 as the region’s premier heart hospital. Lubbock Heart Hospital is a technologically advanced, world-class cardiovascular facility dedicated to providing cost-effective, quality-centered patient care through a physician-driven organization. All patient rooms are private and equipped with the latest technology to meet the special needs of cardiovascular patients.
Lubbock Heart Hospital provides a specially designed and equipped emergency department aimed at the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. Our care teams are also trained to treat acute emergencies in the event of injury or family illness, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is also a heli-pad located north of the ER to accommodate air traffic emergencies and transfers.

University Medical Center
University Medical Center, since its opening on February 1, 1978, has been in the forefront of medical care delivery not only for Lubbock but for the West Texas and Eastern New Mexico region. With a number of firsts in the region, UMC offers many one-of-a-kind services: UMC Children's Hospital was the first to have a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with Neonatal ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). UMC has the only Level I Trauma Center in the region. The Timothy J. Harnar Burn Center (the region's only burn center) and the internationally recognized Institute for Pain Management. The Southwest Cancer Treatment And Research Center offers first rate cancer care right here at home. Through their partnership with Texas Tech, UMC offers leading edge research and technology, including a number of nationally recognized clinical trials in breast and prostate cancer.
UMC offers programs to serve different segments of the community. One of these is Seniors are Special, providing adults age 55 and older savings in a number of healthcare programs. Additionally, UMC's seniors program sponsors several annual educational and social events -- all geared at helping to keep the region's senior citizens healthy, active and informed.

Grace Clinic is located near the central medical district of Lubbock in close proximity to other substantial medical facilities and brings together a new concept in outpatient healthcare that includes new facilities, clinical diagnostic equipment, information technology, an ambulatory surgery center, and support systems.
